Description
The Old Granary is a mid-19th century building located on Town Quay in Barking. It is constructed of yellow brick and features a slate roof. The structure stands four storeys tall and has seven windows. At the right end, there is a tower that adds an extra storey and includes three windows, designed in an Italianate style with wide projecting eaves and a pyramidal roof. The left side of the building has a gable end with three windows, and there is a small gable in the centre that originally had a projecting hoist.
