Description

The entrance gates and railings of The Endowed School are made of sandstone gatepiers and a dwarf wall, complemented by cast iron railings and gates. The railings curve along the entire front of the school and are secured at both ends. The central gatepiers are panelled, featuring bases, cornices, and domed caps. The double gates have spear heads, a ramped top rail, and dog-bars. On either side of the dwarf wall, there are five panels of closely set spear head railings, with thicker posts positioned between each panel.
