Description

The lamppost in the churchyard of the Church of St Cadoc is made of limestone and cast iron. It features the base of a medieval preaching cross, with a limestone socket block that has chamfered angles and broach stops, along with the remains of a chamfered shaft that transitions from square to octagonal with pyramid stops. At the top, there is a cast iron lamp that was originally gas-powered. The lamp has a twisted shaft, an octagonal glass lantern with a filigree top, and a spike finial.
