Description
Beebole at Machen House is a structure consisting of three bays, built from quartz-rich stone. It features three curved-backed pointed recesses, each with squared stone voussoirs that form pointed arched vaults, which are rendered above. The broad central recess has a taller head and is flanked by two narrower and slightly shorter outer recesses, all lined with roughcast. Inside, there are two eroding slate shelves and a slate floor. Square piers separate the recesses, and the outer walls are broader with slight shoulders against the outer arches. The rear of the structure is rendered.
