Description
The drinking trough is made of cast iron and features a cast-iron overflow. It is set in an arched opening in the boundary wall of the former stables. The opening is framed with tooled purple sandstone blocks and stone voussoirs, slightly projecting from the rubble wall on each side. The top has stone coping, and the arch is lined with yellow brick. Below the trough, there is a smaller tapering cast-iron vessel designed to catch the overflow.
