Description

The drinking trough located opposite number 63 on Lamb Hall Road is likely from the 19th century, though it may be older. It is constructed from hammer-dressed stone and features a flagstone surround. The trough is set within a segment-headed recess in a dry rubble stone wall. The flagstones extend approximately 10 yards to the east, with stone setts leading to the roadway between the trough and a nearby barn.
