Description

The front gates and railings belong to The Cottage. The gates are constructed of yellow brick and stone with yellow brick cornices and shallow pyramidal caps to the gatepiers. An iron overthrow is present on the left-hand gates. The double gates themselves are of cast iron and have acorn finials to the outer uprights. A low retaining wall sits between the gates and features stone coping, iron railings with spearheads, and large fleur-de-lys finials to the standards.
