Description

The Summerhouse Folly in the grounds of Maenol is a square structure made of rubble stone, topped with a domed corbelled roof. It features a full-height round-arched entrance with a shell-lined reveal and the underside of the arch also decorated with shells. The rear wall has similar shell grotto-style decorations, including inset pieces of quartz. There is one small window on each side of the building, and the floor is made of stone.
