Description

2-storey with pebbledash elevations, and window margins and plinth. Slate roof with overhanging boarded eaves and central stock brick chimney stack with arched recesses. Symmetrical 3-window front with advanced and gabled central bay (formerly with Gothic ornamented bargeboards - see view of ca 1900). Small pane sash windows with marginal glazing bars to 1st floor and similarly glazed French windows below. The central window has Tudor hoodmould and above is a circular opening to the gable; half glazed double doors. Paired similar sash windows with Tudor hoodmoulds on right gable end and pointed arch Gothic attic window. 1-window similar cross range to right with pilaster strip between; French window and brick chimney stack. Casement windows to left hand side and 4-window twin gabled rear with horned sashes and modern windows.

Stable yard retains main ranges to W and E constructed of shale with red brick dressings.

Evidence of timber frame can be traced in the kitchen wall. The dining room retains plain beams to low ceiling. Mid Victorian drawing room stepped down behind.
