Description

The aqueduct over Malpas Brook, part of the Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal, is a Grade II listed structure. It is built from rubble and features splayed ends. The aqueduct has cement copings, with a more recent brick coping on the east side. It includes two low segmental arches, with a cutwater on the upstream (west) side. The heads of the arches have been covered with cement. On the west side, there is a parapet at ground level, while the east side is higher, creating a protective wall alongside the towpath.
