Description

The barn at Castle House is a long, low structure built of stone rubble with a tiled roof. It features two hipped, tile-hung dormers and has ventilation slits at two levels, with three located at the gable ends. There are signs of masonry alteration, and the barn includes a central double boarded door and an end door on the left side. The rear elevation is notably deeper, with one upper opening, as the building was constructed on the retaining wall of the outer ward. Inside, the barn has a queen-strut roof.
