Description
The gatepiers, gates, and fence of The Willows are made of local coursed rubble stone that is now painted, along with wrought and cast iron elements. The structure features curved wing walls of stone that are capped with an iron coping, which supports plain railings. These walls rise to square stone piers on the outside, topped with cast iron caps that have vases. The design continues with openwork gateposts, also adorned with vases, and includes double iron gates fitted with dog-bars.
