Description
Toll Gate House is a 19th-century building featuring a rendered and painted exterior, topped with a natural slate roof and a red brick chimney stack. The structure is designed in the shape of a stretched hexagon, with a central rear wing. It is one storey high and has five sides facing the road. The building showcases Gothic style pointed windows and a door, with windows on all sides that retain their original interlacing glazing bars. The hipped roofs are complemented by a central chimney stack. The rear elevation has not been inspected, and the interior was not examined during the resurvey.
