Description

The railings and gate to the forecourt at Willoughby House were constructed around 1743 and restored around 1990. They are made of wrought iron and feature central double gates with a segment-arched design, which are accompanied by openwork piers and finials. The gates are flanked by ramped spearhead railings, all set on a low brick wall topped with chamfered ashlar coping.
