Description

Nos. 11 and 13 Chippenhamgate Street are a pair of double-depth cottages, likely dating to the 18th century. They are set forward of Nos. 7 and 9 to the right. The cottages are faced in roughcast render, with a plinth, and have Welsh slate roofs. Each cottage is single fronted and has one window. No. 11 has a tripartite sash window with 6 over 6 panes on each floor. The doorway has a small broken pediment hood supported by brackets, and contains a 20th-century replacement door consisting of two panels below a 3x3 pane window. No. 13 has plain 20th-century plate glass sashes. The roofs have a low pitch, with a ridge stack to the left of each house. The rear elevation is not visible. The interior was not inspected during a recent survey, but appears to be composed of very small rooms.
