Description
Henry Burton Court, located on Glendower Street, is a group of six houses built from coursed red sandstone rubble with Bath stone dressings and tiled roofs. The structure is single storey and arranged in an L-shape on either side of a central archway. It features a large elliptical dressed arch with a gable, flanked by square towers that have round-headed foot passages topped by octagonal lanterns and spires with bell-casts. The entrances are on the north side, sheltered by pent porches supported by timber. The windows have been replaced with casement types. The main south elevation showcases a 3-light mullion-and-transom window in a gable for each house, along with a recessed doorway between them and a small window in the gable end. The roofs are steeply pitched and include brick stacks. The interior was not seen during the resurvey.
