Description
Henry Burton Court, located on Glendower Street, consists of six consecutive houses built in coursed red sandstone rubble with Bath stone dressings and tiled roofs. This single-storey structure features three houses arranged in an L-shape on either side of a central archway. The large elliptical dressed arch is topped by a gable and flanked by square towers, which have round-headed foot passages and are crowned with octagonal lanterns and spires that have bell-casts. The entrances are located on the north side, sheltered by pent porches supported by timber. The windows have been replaced with casement styles. On the main south elevation, each house has a 3-light mullion-and-transom window set in a gable, with a recessed doorway situated between them. There is also a small window in the gable end, and the roofs are steeply pitched with brick stacks. The interior was not seen during the resurvey.
