Description

9 Mount Pleasant is part of a terrace of Regency houses that step down the hillside, along with Nos. 2-11 Mount Pleasant and No. 14 Steep Street. The houses have rendered walls and slate roofs with narrow end stacks, many of which still have slate pots. The terrace features a double-pile plan with a rear elevation facing Steep Street, which includes an additional house. The buildings are three storeys high, generally presenting two-window fronts, primarily with sash windows set in reveals, although some have been replaced with casements. The doorways are semi-circular headed and located to the right. Number 9 specifically has roughcast render, plastic multipane windows, a plain fanlight, and a part-glazed door.
