Description
7 Mount Pleasant is part of a terrace of Regency houses that step down the hillside, along with Nos. 2-11 Mount Pleasant and No. 14 Steep Street. The walls are rendered, and the houses feature slate roofs with matching narrow end stacks, many of which still have slate pots. The terrace has a double-pile plan with a rear elevation facing Steep Street, which includes an additional house. The buildings are three storeys high and generally have two-window fronts, primarily with sash windows, most of which are set in reveals; some windows have been replaced, and some are casements. There are semi-circular headed doorways located to the right of the fronts. Number 7 specifically has roughcast render, plastic casement windows on the ground and first floors, a six-panelled door with a fanlight featuring radial glazing, and both double and single width sash windows on the top floor.
