Description

3 Mount Pleasant is part of a terrace range of Regency houses that step down the hillside. The walls are rendered, and the houses have slate roofs with matching narrow end stacks, many of which retain slate pots. The building has a double-pile plan with a rear elevation facing Steep Street, which includes an additional house. It stands three storeys tall and generally features two-window fronts, primarily with sash windows, although some have been replaced with casements. The doorways are semi-circular headed and located to the right. Number 3 specifically has a 6-pane sash window on the top floor and a 16-pane sash on the first floor. It also features rusticated quoins, a tripartite window, a rusticated doorway with radial glazing in the fanlight, a panelled door, and an eaves cornice.
