Description
23a and 23b are two-storey buildings with a rendered and painted exterior, topped with a Welsh slate roof and featuring a red brick chimney stack. The buildings have a single depth plan with a rear wing. The front facade has three windows, with the central bay set forward and gabled. There is a central door with an arched head, complete with impost bands and a keystone, leading to a panelled door. The flanking bays contain sash windows that have raised, keyed architraves and 6 over 6 pane sashes. The upper flanking windows are similar but feature modern replacement sashes. The central window on the ground floor has a fixed plastic window with a basket head, consisting of three panes wide and five panes high. To the left on the ground floor, there is an arched rear entry that has been closed off with a late 20th-century door, and there is blind walling above it. The roof is plain with narrow bargeboards on the gable, and the chimney stack is positioned behind the ridge. The return wall is also blind. The rear elevation has not been inspected, and the interior has not been inspected during the resurvey.
