Description
Glanusk Farmhouse is a symmetrical, three-storey building that has been cement rendered. It features three windows, including a large three-light mullioned window on the right side of the ground floor and wooden transmullioned casements above on the first storey. The farmhouse has a modern hipped roof over an open porch. There are brick chimneys located at the left rear and right-hand gable, which are over massive stacks that may date back to before the 18th century. The slate roof, which has an overhang, is a Victorian renewal.
At the rear, there is a long catslide roof that encloses a tall gabled stair tower made of rubble construction, featuring paired casements under timber lintels. Inside, the farmhouse retains a 17th-century staircase with solid wooden treads radiating from a newel.
