Description

8 High Street is a shop building with a Georgian and Victorian frontage, consisting of two storeys and attached to buildings on either side. The walls are finished in scored render, and the pantile roof is set back behind an eaves cornice. On the first floor, there are two canted bay windows featuring plate glass sashes and pitched slate roofs. The shop front is panelled, with slender mullions and a dentilled cornice, and has a bracketed side door to the right that is recessed and features a panelled part-glazed door. The central shopfront door includes an overlight.

Inside, there is one large chamfered and stopped beam running parallel with the frontage, and the staircase is boxed in.
