Description

The water trough opposite Porth-y-pentre is a roadside niche constructed from random rock-faced conglomerate rubble, with some stones neatly squared. Inside the niche, there is a rough stone trough and a water spout, along with a panel above it that is no longer legible. The coping of the niche is ramped up using rough stones.
