Description

The water trough opposite Porth Pen-y-parc is a roadside niche constructed from random rock-faced conglomerate rubble, with some stones neatly squared. Inside the niche, there is a large rough stone trough and a water spout. Above the spout, there are three recessed panels, although the details on these panels are no longer legible. The coping of the niche is ramped up, featuring rough stones with flat stones in the center.
