Description
Bridge No. 81 is an accommodation and access bridge over the Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal. It features a semi-elliptical arch made of voussoirs and is constructed from squared, faced, and coursed local sandstone. The bridge has a parapet with slab coping and curving abutments. The stonework is more defined than that of earlier bridges, and there is a triple arch ring made of blue engineering brick. The bridge number is located on the south face of the arch. A towpath runs beneath the bridge arch on the east side.
