Description

The granary/stable at Bryn-hyfryd is a two-storey building constructed from squared red sandstone rubble, featuring dressed openings and a natural slate roof. It has a small rectangular shape and is three bays wide. On the ground floor, there is a central door with a voussoired head, a small window to the left, and stairs to the right that lead to an upper door. The upper floor includes a central bullseye window with a dressed surround and nine-pane glazing. The roof has a low pitch, and the other elevations of the building are featureless. The interior was not seen during the resurvey.
