Description

The overflow on the Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal, located between Bridges 82 and 83, is constructed of local sandstone rubble. It features a D-shaped pond that backs onto the towpath. A low curved wall, approximately 1 meter high, runs along the towpath and protects a drop, with the walling containing the sluices. There is also a low wing wall surrounding the paved pond.
