Description

Nos. 2 and 4 Hereford Road are a pair of houses dating from the 18th century. They are rendered and painted throughout and have Welsh slate roofs. The front elevation of No. 2 is a single bay, featuring wooden double doors with side windows on the ground floor and a 3-light wooden casement window above. The long side elevation has four windows—two 3-light wooden casement windows belonging to No. 2 and two wooden casement windows belonging to No. 4. The roof is hipped at the street end, with a tall rendered stack at the street end of No. 2 and another stack at the rear serving No. 4. The rear elevation is not visible. Access to the houses is via a shared passage leading through the street door beside that of No. 6, within the curtilage of that house. Internally, very slight cross beams are visible.
