Description
The revetment walls and paved roadway at Hygga House are made of a mix of local rubblestone, sandstone, and conglomerate. The road ascends a steep slope from the house to the farmyard and is bordered by rubble retaining walls that are approximately 1 meter high. The paved roadway, which measures about 40 meters in length, features a decorative pattern of stars that are meticulously arranged in pitched stone, with the design repeating in roughly square sections.
