Description
The front garden walls and gatepiers at the Great House are constructed from whitewashed rubble stone and enclose three sides of the farmhouse's front garden. The northern side wall features a blocked opening, while the southern wall is slightly lower and has an opening. The northeast corner is chamfered.
The central entry is ornate, with the walls set back in short curved sections leading to very large rubble stone piers. These piers have corniced caps and large ball finials resting on concave pyramid bases. The inner face of each pier includes a raised stone gate stop.
