Description
Treherne Cross is a Celtic cross made of sandstone, standing approximately 3 meters high on three steps of rock-faced grey limestone. It features roll-moulded angles and a carved figure of the crucified Christ on the cross-head. On the roadside front of the shaft, there is an inscription that reads, "Is it nothing to you, all ye that pass by," while the rear of the cross bears the inscription, "To G.G. T. Treherne erected 1926."
