Description
The lime kiln, built into the bank above Grove Caravan Park, is a large-scale structure made of rubble stone and roughly square in shape, standing about 5 meters high. It features two kiln eyes: one is roughly keel-shaped with stones arranged in a stepped manner leading to a steep triangular head, while the other has a lower, broader opening with cut stone voussoirs and a keystone. The crucible has been filled in.
