Description
Lasgarn Cottage is a two-storey rectangular building built in the 19th century, featuring a small one-and-a-half storey extension at the rear. Constructed from squared coursed stone with Welsh slate roofs, it showcases a Tudor Gothic style. The front elevation facing the road has three bays on the ground floor: a window on the left, a central entrance with a gabled porch, and an external chimney stack on the right wall. The left window is a cross-framed small paned casement with a dripmould above, while another window is located above the porch gable, set within its own small eaves gable. The chimney stack has off-sets, weathering above the eaves, and paired polygonal shafts topped with a weathered cap. Both gables feature modern bargeboards without decoration, and each gable end has a window with a dripmould on both floors. The rear extension is built with similar materials and character, although the joinery is modern and not a reproduction. The interior was not inspected during the last survey in December 1996.
