Description
The Generator Tower is a two-storey structure built of coursed rockfaced stone. It features a corbelled and embattled parapet with water spouts. The main front has a splayed segmental arched doorway on the ground floor, which is framed by deep narrow voussoirs, with slightly projecting jambs and quoins. There is a metal overlight above the doorway, although no glazing remains. Above this, there is a flat-arched opening with a sill. The rear of the tower is similar, but the ground floor is obscured by a corrugated lean-to. Wire attachments are present on three sides of the building.
