Description

The Troed-y-Rhiw War Memorial is a war memorial featuring a white marble statue of a soldier holding a reversed gun. The statue stands on a pedestal made of grey granite, which includes a moulded plinth, a coved cornice, and a tapering shaft that is inscribed with names on all four sides. The front of the memorial has an additional raised shaped plaque with a ribbon scroll above a commemorative inscription. The memorial is elevated on four steps with chamfered leading edges.
