Description
The corbelled pigsty at Penddeugae Fach is a circular structure built from rubble stone laid in courses of thin stones with minimal mortar, likely originally rendered and whitewashed. It features a circular plan with battered walls that curve into a pointed dome roof, which is constructed by slightly corbelling each successive course. The apex of the roof is capped with a curved pyramidal finial stone. There is a narrow door with iron lintels and a tiny window to the right. Inside, the circular space has a domical roof made of coursed stones that are corbelled into a flat small capstone.
