Description

The wall at Tondrugwaer features seven square recesses arranged in a line, each with flat stone lintels and sills. These recesses would have held one skep of bees each. Above the recesses is an irregular line of narrow projecting stones that provide protection from the weather. There may have been two additional recesses to the left, which are now blocked. The wall is made of rubble stone and faces south, and it may have originally been part of a farm building.
