Description

Llantrisant House is a two-storey building with an eight-window front facing west. It is rendered and lined under a hipped slate roof, featuring two stone ridge stacks and a plinth. The entrances are located to the left and in the third bay from the right, each consisting of square-headed doorcases with moulded cornices that contain 20th-century panelled doors and overlights, with the right door being half-glazed. The window openings have flat heads and stone sills, fitted with 6-over-6-pane hornless sashes. The three-window block on the right, which includes the right doorway, appears to be an addition to the original house, and its windows are slightly wider.

There are rear ranges at both the left and right ends, each with a ridge stack. The north end of the front range features a tall round-headed stairlight to the left with 20th-century glazing, and a window to the lower storey on the right with stained glass. There is a small lean-to at the far left, beyond which the rear range steps in and is not visible. The south side of the house has a three-window layout, with double half-glazed doors at the centre leading to a uPVC conservatory. To the left are late 20th-century French doors, above which is a tripartite sash window. The right side has sashes and a window in the upper storey centre, while the rear mainly consists of late 20th-century uPVC doors and windows.

There is partial access to the interior. Inside the right doorway, there is a hall with round arches and moulded coving leading to a rear staircase. The wall to the left is very thick, indicating it marks an original external wall of the house. The room to the right features a decorated ceiling cornice with foliage and vines, along with an Adam-style fireplace. The room to the left, located in the older part of the house, has a panelled ceiling.
