Description
Nos. 53 and 55 Lon Isa are a pair of semi-detached houses, classified as Rhiwbina Type 8a, built in the 20th century. They are two storeys high and feature roughcast render that has been painted. The houses have hipped slate roofs with brick chimneys located at the centre and ends. The front has four windows, with the end bays being slightly advanced and topped with hipped roofs. No. 53 has replacement glazing, while No. 55 has a first-floor bay with tripartite sashes that include 12-pane windows flanked by narrow sashes; the other windows in No. 55 are 16-pane sashes. The doorways are situated in the end walls and are covered by flat hoods, with a small-pane sash window located on the upper floor.
