Description
Nos. 37 and 39 Lon Isa are a pair of semi-detached houses, built as part of a development known as Rhiwbina Type 8a. They date to the early 20th century. The houses are two storeys high and have roughcast rendering, now painted. The roofs are slate, hipped in shape, with brick chimneys positioned centrally and at each end. The front elevation has four windows, with the end bays projecting forward and featuring hipped roofs. On the first floor, the outer bays have tripartite sash windows with twelve panes in the central section, and narrower sashes on either side. The remaining windows are twelve-pane sashes. Doorways are located in the end walls, each with a flat hood above and a small-pane sash window on the upper floor.
