Description
Nos. 49 and 51 Lon Isa are a pair of semi-detached houses built in the Rhiwbina Type 1 style. They are two storeys high and feature roughcast render that has been painted. There is a band at the first floor sill level, a hipped slate roof, and a central brick chimney with tall brick stacks at both ends. No. 49 has replacement glazing. The houses have a four-window front.
No. 51 has, on the right side, a tripartite small-pane sash window on each floor, with a central 12-pane sash flanked by narrow sashes. To the left, there are 16-pane sash windows above, and on the ground floor, there is a splayed bay window with a small-pane sash window on each face. No. 49 mirrors this design but features modern glazing. The entrances are located on the sides, with doorways beneath flat hoods, and there are pairs of windows towards the rear on the upper floor.
