Nos. 42 and 44 Lon Isa are a pair of semi-detached houses, classified as Rhiwbina Type 12, built in two storeys. They feature roughcast render that is painted, with hipped slate roofs and a central brick chimney. The houses have original small-pane windows. The central bay is advanced and has a hipped roof, while the outer bays each contain a small square window located at the eaves.
