Description

Laundry Cottage is a two-storey building with a front elevation featuring cement rendered cladding and a Welsh slate gabled roof, complemented by red brick end stacks. The structure has three bays and a central entrance, designed with a double depth plan and a small rear outshut. The front wall includes sash windows with 6 over 6 panes that have horns and are set in reveals. The central doorway is semi-circular headed, adorned with a stuccoed archivolt, and topped with a semi-circular fanlight that has radiating tracery. The door itself is a four-panelled design with sunk panels. The rear elevation was not inspected during the resurvey, but it is noted that the roof slopes low over the rear outshut. The interior was also not inspected at the time of the resurvey.
