Description

The sea wall located to the east of the former Mount Stuart Shiprepair Yard is a steeply sloping structure made of coursed squared rubble masonry in grey and brown. The wall is approximately 110 meters long and can be up to 20 meters wide, featuring courses of varied height. It runs in a roughly north-south direction, curving from near the junction of Bute Street and Stuart Street to meet the vertical sea wall of Graving Dock No 1 at the former Shiprepairing Yard.
