Description
The statue of Judge Gwilym Williams of Miskin is a bronze standing figure mounted on a granite pedestal. The statue features the judge in legal dress, with his weight resting on his right leg and his left leg extended forward, taut at the knee. His right forearm is extended, and his right hand is open, while his left hand clasps the raised border of his gown. The south-east side of the podium includes a bronze inscription that reads, "Gwlad Garwr, Chairman and Vice Chairman of Quarter Sessions for the County of Glamorgan for 19 years. Judge of the County Courts for 22 years."
