Description

The pedestal and bronze statue of Howell Gwyn was created in 1889. It features a full figure of Howell Gwyn, a prominent citizen and benefactor who lived from 1806 to 1888. The statue depicts him in an informal stance, wearing an overcoat and gesturing with his right hand. It stands on a moulded marble pedestal and was previously located in front of Gwyn Hall. The statue is signed by M Raggie of London.
