Description

This is a circular cast-iron red letter box of standard design. It has a narrow cylinder shape with a fluted rim and a shallow domed cap that features a sign bracket. The door displays the V R monogram, and the words "POST OFFICE" are found on either side of the letter slot. The letter box was made by A Handyside and Co Ltd of Derby and London.
