Description
Cranes is a two-storey classical building constructed in ashlar stone. The upper storey, which has some areas patched with cement and some window dressings removed, features five windows. The central section has three windows and is flanked by an engaged order of two Ionic columns in antis, topped with a pediment. There is a single window on either side, each with a full entablature and blocking. The windows are small-pane hornless sash windows with hoods for blinds. The ground floor is set forward and has been completely remodelled as a shop, featuring a modern shopfront in a simplified Classical style. To the right, there is an entrance to the offices above.
