Description
110 West George Street is a classical house built around 1830, now converted into offices. It is three storeys high with a basement and features a three-bay façade constructed of polished ashlar. All the windows are sash and set within architraves, with plate glass. The basement has tripartite windows with stone mullions. A central Ionic portico with a segmental pediment leads to an architraved doorway at the top of the steps that oversails the basement. The first-floor windows have corbelled cills and corniced cornices, while the second-floor windows are corniced and sit on a moulded cill band. The building also has an eaves cornice and a blocking course, along with cast-iron railings.
